One of Avalon's exciting expeditions this year will be an Indian Ocean crossing of 5000 miles from Western Australia to South Africa. This epic voyage takes courage and tenacity. On the ocean, a gruelling shift schedule is necessary so it means serious commitment and dedication from each man or woman. As a ocean rowing team member each rower must pull their weight and more!

Yellowbrick  tracks our expeditions and the Ocean Rowing Society  monitors Avalon's progress with detailed maps and charts.

Recruitment for crew continues for epic trans-Atlantic expeditions, all in pursuit of the open class speed record.  Crew opportunities are available for the challenging row in January 2015.  If you are a motivated sort with a great character this is your chance to get involved, come and row with one of the world’s most successful teams.

Leven is now taking telephone enquiries and you can email us at info@oceanrowevents.com to leave your name and enquiry.  Leven will send you the prospectus which will answer a lot of frequently asked questions,  it also covers the costs involved and will give you an idea of life aboard.
